With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Damon is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and businesses manage and preserve their wealth. A native of southern Indiana, Damon graduated from Indiana University Southeast in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and was recognized as an NAIA All-American in men’s college basketball. He began his career in financial services at AXA Advisors in 1998, then moved to Smith Barney in Louisville, Kentucky. Damon later worked as an asset manager and financial consultant for Wachovia Securities in Dallas, Texas, until 2010. After relocating to Middle Tennessee, he was accepted into the Executive MBA Program at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, earning his MBA in July 2013. Before joining Wilson Bank & Trust Investment Services in 2015, Damon served as the director of client coverage, U.S., for S&P Dow Jones Indices.
Damon is also committed to community involvement. He has been a league director and coach for the West Wilson Basketball Association and served as director and coach for the Mount Juliet Little League for four years. Additionally, he has been a board member for the Cerebral Palsy KIDS Center in Louisville, Kentucky, and currently serves on the Board for the Wilson County chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
Damon and his wife, Tasha, live in Mount Juliet with their two children, Mason and Sawyer. In his free time, Damon enjoys golfing, working out at Planet Fitness or at home on his Peloton, coaching his kids in various sports, traveling with his family, and spending time with friends and loved ones.
