Throughout his more than 20 years in the financial services industry, David has helped clients pursue important goals by providing clarity and insight for their whole financial picture. As a Certified Financial Planner professional, he believes that it’s crucial for clients to understand the thinking behind each recommendation and he takes the time to explain complex topics in straightforward terms. Putting clients first and attending to each small detail are what set him apart. Through a compassionate approach, he builds strong relationships for the long term. He sincerely wants to see his clients succeed and he wants to develop a relationship that will span much more than just a retirement account.

For David, being a financial advisor is a calling. “I wanted to have a career with meaning, to help people with their financial lives,” he says. After earning a bachelor’s degree in finance with an emphasis in personal financial planning from Western Kentucky University, he began his career as an advisor with Wilson Bank & Trust Investment Services in 2000 and is affiliated as a financial advisor with Raymond James Financial Services.

Being involved in the community is important to David. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Middle Tennessee, Junior Achievement, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Wilson County Community Foundation Board of Directors as well as the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He is also an elder and Sunday school teacher at Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He lives in his hometown of Lebanon, Tennessee, with his wife, Mandi. They have three children, Isabel, Sam and Luke. In his free time, David enjoys spending time with his family, staying active physically, watching sports and participating in church events.
