He joined Wilson Bank & Trust Investment Services in 2023 and holds his Series 7 and Series 66 Licenses. Before he served as a Registered Sales Assistant at CAPTRUST and UBS.

Derek attended Tennessee Technological University, graduating in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He then pursued his MBA at Middle Tennessee State University, graduating in 2017.

Originally from Lebanon, TN, he currently lives in Nashville, TN. Derek is a member of the Nashville Junior Chamber and the Nashville Ski Club. In his free time, Derek enjoys hiking, snow skiing, traveling, cheering on the Tennessee Titans and Vols and spending time with his friends and Fiancée, Mackenzie.
