In a financial services career spanning more than three decades, Jim has taken a straightforward and logical approach to investment and financial planning. He prides himself on professional service, using his knowledge and experience to help clients identify and pursue their goals. Clients appreciate his accessibility and his communication style.

Jim began his career with Prudential Securities in 1988 and later moved to First American Bank. He joined Wilson Bank & Trust Investment Services in 1999 and is affiliated as an advisor with Raymond James Financial Services. He has been named to the prestigious Executive Council* at Raymond James Financial Services several times, most recently in 2020. He graduated from University of North Alabama in Florence with a B.A. in business administration and earned the Chartered Life Underwriter® designation in 1995.

A 28-year resident of Mount Juliet, Jim and his wife, Faith, raised their children, Grace and Hugh, here and support the community in their church and business life. Jim is a past president of the Donelson Lions Club, a board member for Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a volunteer and financial supporter of the following charities: Muscular Dystrophy Association, Down Syndrome of Middle Tennessee, The Family Center, Sherry’s Run, Habitat for Humanity, Joseph’s Storehouse food pantry and Brooks House shelter. Jim and his team are also extremely active in the community and in local charitable efforts.

In his spare time, Jim enjoys spending time with family, including his grandsons, Jameson and Hank. He also likes playing and listening to music, boating, camping, snow skiing and golfing.
